Hi Everyone
If you would like to become a new member (or renew an existing membership)it’s quite easy!
Copy and paste the paragraphs below into an email and send to rlowen@hotmail.co.uk
There are TWO grades of membership: FULL £35 and NON RIDING £10
You can then pay your membership by BACS or by posting a cheque to Rachel Jones, Mountain View, Salop Road, Welshpool, Powys, SY21 7ED. Your membership ( and insurance cover from BHS) will not become valid until your payment has been received.
Please remember that membership only runs from January to January so a late payment just decreases your value for money.
COPY AND PASTE FROM HERE, then edit in your own details….thats the important bit!

I am interested in joining your club and would like to know what area you cover and where you hold training events etc. I have been a member of a club in area 21 and find all our qualifiers are either with area 20 or miles away in South Wales. I live in Aberdyfi so we always have to travel. Do you require your members to do help days or is there a buy out option? Just considering my options really before I pay my subs so any other info would be appreciated. Look forward to hearing from you.
Vicky
Hi Victoria
We are in Area 20 and the location of area events varies but does usually involve some travelling I’m afraid. There are some in Llanymynech and Shrewsbury which are not too bad for us but will be a long way from Aberdyfi I guess. However, we do encourage our members to make the most of the club and not think of it as only Area competitions. We hold lots of rallies and camps, have regular lessons and mini competitions for our members and sometimes in conjunction with another local club. we are quite a social bunch and like to get together regularly to ‘talk horse’ too. Helpers on area days are always a bone of contention and if you compete at Area level then the onus is on you to provide a helper ( but does not have to be a club member) or help out yourself at an area event you are not participating in…ie…you might compete at dressage but not in the show jumping and so could help on that day instead. Hope that all makes sense. Do get in touch with any of the committee members if you would like to know more. 🙂
Hi, I am planning on joining your group, but just wanted to clarify what BHS insurance was included with the membership? Helen
